Dandelion classes are designed for young people and families to explore a variety of themes, activities, materials, and spaces. Content will be explored via respectful communication while modeling early community building skills and meeting young people where they are.
Dandelion classes are grounded in the belief that children are people, and people learn best when they are immersed in a rich environment and free to choose how they’ll engage and spend their time. Young people are always invited but never required to participate in any activity. Some young people have a hard time sitting through a structured time, prefer to observe rather than actively engage, or want to pursue specific interests, and that's ok. Classes that include entire families welcome families to engage in whatever ways feel most supportive to their young person.
