   1.  COMMUNITY STANDARDS: is a creative, inclusive digital space where people of all ages and backgrounds can dive into eclectic offerings that enrich their lives and interests. All of the live and pre-recorded (self-paced) classes offered by are created and delivered by passionate individuals in our community.  


In order to harness and share the collective creative brilliance of our growing community, we need to ensure that is a safe space for all community members.  All of our members (teachers, learners, and owners) must treat each other in a respectful way that honors the lived experiences of others.  Evidence of prejudice or discrimation in language or treatment of others, including but not limited to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, will not be tolerated.  Any evidence of prejudicial behavior, in the community space or outside, will result in the community member being removed from


We have created some guidelines for community members.  These guidelines are dynamic and subject to change as we seek out feedback from community members and find new ways to grow more inclusive.  Community members who do not meet the posted guidelines will be removed from the site without notice.


Teacher Code of Conduct:

  • Take a passion-driven approach to creating learning experiences.  Consider the many different ways people interact with new material.  Curate learning experiences designed for multiple intelligences, and create content/offer classes only where you have appropriate background or expertise.

  • Cultivate a professional teaching environment.  Be prepared to share the content of your class in a responsive, accessible way.  Begin and end all classes at the predetermined start and finish times.  Behave at all times in a way that prioritizes the safety of learners of all ages (appropriate language, clothing, etc).  Do not teach while impaired by alcohol or drugs.

  • Respond within 48 hours to all questions and requests from enrolled persons.  If you need support responding, reach out to within 48 hours for support.

  • Communicate in an inviting and respectful way with caregivers and learners in class and in any written communication.

Learner Code of Conduct:

  • Be as timely as possible.  Show up for class; many classes revolve around discussion and a group experience.

  • Dress appropriately (shirts required) and ensure any visible background materials are suitable for a G-rated audience.  

  • Participate in creating a mutually respectful environment through your written and oral communication to both classmates and the teacher.

  • Contribute to a class environment in a way that is safe and welcoming for learners and teachers from all backgrounds, beliefs, and locations.

  • Refrain from sharing or requesting personal information with classmates. (e.g., email address, mailing address, phone number, gamer tags, etc.).

  • Ask questions of teachers to clarify any missing details about classes.

  • Provide constructive feedback about your class experience, for the benefit of the teacher and other parents.

  • Help keep a safe space for learners, families, and teachers from all backgrounds, beliefs, and locations.  

  • Contact immediately with any concerns related to in class conduct on the part of the teacher or other learners. Code of Conduct:

  • We welcome members from all backgrounds, beliefs, and locations and are committed to creating a safe space for our users across all pillars of diversity.

  • We will actively engage with learners, teachers, and other community members to ensure that the content on our platform is appropriate, responsive to community needs and in line with our stated values.  

  • We will enforce policies designed to ensure that our learning space is safe for all users.  This might include removing content or users that are in conflict with those policies.

Content available on should be secular and age-appropriate for the advertised audience.  Teachers should refrain from advancing their personal viewpoints in class, even when questioned by learners, and instead provide information that will help learners use information to distill their own opinions and views.

  • Classes should be secular:

    • Classes will not present or promote a specific religion or ideology.

    • Classes will only present facts and ideas that are science based and agreed upon by the prevailing experts in that field.

  • Classes should be objective and accurate: 

    • Class content should be rooted in verifiable facts.

    • Present as many legitimate perspectives within a topic as possible in order to challenge individual bias.

    • Utilize supplemental resources (text, video, images, etc.) that are accurate and attempt to include multiple perspectives, rather than sensationalized views of an individual viewpoint.

  • Classes should be age-appropriate:

    • Any material that is not appropriate for young children, should be explicitly described in the class description- for example, topics that include violence or are sexual in nature.  


Teachers may not use or promote hate speech or discrimation including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, disability, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, etc.  Teachers that do not meet this standard in their classes or content or personal lives, will be removed from without notice.

When offers classes or content that requires specialized background knowledge, teachers will be required to demonstrate, through credentials or verifiable experience, their expertise.  These topics include but are not limited to:

  • Physical and Mental health (wellness, medicine, and drugs)

  • Sex education 

  • Nutrition and diet




All teachers for are required to submit current background clearances.  Those clearances include but are not limited to FBI Clearance, State Police Criminal Background check and Child Abuse clearnaces.
