Dandelion Homeschool Co-Op: Owl Pellet Dissection

Join Lily in the TDP building for a morning of dissecting owl pellets!

In this offering, kids will work together in small groups to examine real owl pellets—regurgitated bundles containing the undigested bones and fur of an owl’s prey. Under guided instruction, children carefully dissect the pellets using simple tools, uncovering and identifying bones such as skulls, ribs, and limb bones.
